Intro to Access Point Networks (APN)
APN (Access Point Name) is a gateway between a GSM(Global System for Mobile communication), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), 3G or 4G mobile network and another computer network, frequently the public Internet. Any device making a data connection must be configured with an APN to establish a connection between device & carrier.
