Jio phone Pre Booking Suspended


On August 24 2017 Jio stopped Pre-Booking of its feature phone on its website. 


Until 24 August, Millions of Jio Phones were Pre-Booked by Indian Users. On the same day After 5:30 PM Jio website was not accessible for a short period of time. The main reason behind this is not revealed, but there may be any technical issue or due maintenance on their servers.

As per the image is shown on the website millions of VoLTE JioPhone were booked with a notice "We will inform you when Pre-booking of jio phone resumes" without mentioning any date. To get notified about Jio phone you need to provide your First Name, Last Name, Pin Code, Email Id and Mobile Number (All of them are mandatory). 

Notwithstanding suspending of Pre-Booking, they still allow us to register for Jio Phone by giving some essential details. If you are an Individual, you need to provide your Name, Pin Code of your city/Town, Email -id & Phone number but if register for business purpose some additional details like PAN/GSTN number and Number of Jio-Phone / Jio Fi you require.

What to do if Phone is booked?

If you are the one from Millions to book the phone, then you can track your phone by dialing a toll-free number "‘18008908900" or just head towards My Jio app to see the status of your phone.


Those who really don't know about Jio phone, pre-orders were accepted by depositing Rs 500 which then will be reduced from 1500 (The original price of the phone) when you receive your handset.
